Shrub, low and nearly prostrate in deep
shade, but erect and arching to 3 m in
exposed, sunnier sites. Leaves dark green
above, lighter beneath. Pedicel and calyx
reddish-green. Corolla bright, butter
yellow. Locally common. [Photo; Pickled.]
