Vegetation: remnant pockets of bosque humedo, secondary scrub and
surrounding cultivation.
Scandent shrub, 2-3mxl-2 cm diam., bark smooth, grey; leaves semi-
coriaceous, yellow-green; pedicels and calyces pink-red, corollas fleshy,
dark pinkish red with white apices, persistent styles pinkish purple. In
secondary scrub.
