Cundinamarca: Mun. Villapinzón, 10 km E of Villapinzón on the road to
Umbita, Páramo Los Chasques, 3230 m. 5°13' N, 73°32' W.
Subpáramo. Moderately common, in clumps, all vegetative at this site.
Culms erect, arching at tips, 4 cm in diameter, 4-5 m tall. Branching
intravaginal.
