Norte de Santander: Municipio of Toledo. Vereda Toledito. On the way to Los Remansos. Selectively logged Andean forest border. Shrub to 0.5 m tall. Leaves ± pendant on young shouts. Inflorescence pendant, the rachis and hypanthia wine red. Flowers 4-6-merous but prevailingly 4-merous. Petals, filaments and anthers white. Style red-pink, exceeded in length by the stamens.
