Dear Dr* anali: Confirming my telegram of yesterday, I am willing to have the Tallapoosa blueberry published as Cyanococcus tallapoosae. Modifications should be made in the description to in- clude the following: Stems 15 to 60 cm. high, from thick horizontal rootstocks. Corolla greenish white, seme times with a blush of pink. Berry blue, commonly 7 to 10 mm. in diameter, rarely 14 nan. Branchlets glabrous, or sometimes with lines of scant pubescence. Leaves elliptic lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, glabrous or sometimes pubescent on the upper surface along the midrib, or even elliolate on the margins at maturity, 2 to 5 cm. long, acute at the apex, entire. Oak woods, western Georgia, especially in the vicinity of Tallapoosa, and eastern Alabama. 02548039
