NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN
FLORIDA, WAKULLA COUNTY: St Maries Wildlife Refuge,
Panacea Unit, off County Rd 372 which runs from U.S. Rt 98
and the Ocklockonee Bay Bridge to U.S.' 319 at Sopchoppy.
In longleaf pineland on lower slope of gentle ridge and close to
pineland pond. Growing thoroughly intermixed with V.
myrsinites, Gaylussacia dumosa, G. mosieri, Ilex glabra, Quercus
minima. Plant with the general appearance of V. myrsinites
except that it is glaucous and bluish green. Fruits glaucous.
