IDAHO; Boundary Co., 15.5 miles southwest of junction Boundary Creek Rd. and Smith Creek Rd. along Forest Service Rd. #2443 near Cutoff Peak, Kaniksu National Forest, NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of sec. 18 T.64N R.2W; 5,000 ft., 30% slope, northern exposure, soil decomposed granite; edge of Tsuga heterophylla/Clintonia uniflora habitat type; abundant with Alnus sinuata, Salix scouleriana,Thuja plicata, Menziesia ferruginea, Abies lasiocarpa and ; white flower with purple spots; height up to 1 meter.
