Pinus-Drimys evergreen cloud forest. Abundant.

Description
Prostrate to erect shrub 1 dm to 1.5 m tall (in areas off road). Stems and leaves with wintergreen odor. Corolla white to pink. Fruiting calyx black. Flowers visited by bees.
