left at old red-brick schoolhouse. Fol-
low this road back .7 mi. and an 8 acre
colony -will be on the left by roadside.
White pine-oak woods on clay-shale soil with thin
layer of humus. Many Ericaceous plants present with
box huckleberry dominating. Colony is dense with
healthy plants; no flowers but many swollen buds.
