FLORA OF IDAHO Gaultheria ovatifolia Gray IDAHO COUNTY: Clearwater National Forest, north of Eldorado Creek, on steep road bank of spur road (Forest Service Road # 500G) of the Eldorado Creek Road ( # 500). Aspect northeast. Elevation ~ 3600 feet. Locally abundant. Growing under Menziesii ferruginia and young Thuja plicata, Abies grandis, Abies bifolia, and Picea engelmannii, with Linnaea borealis, Gaultheria humifusa, Gymnocarpium dryopteris, and the moss Rhytidiopsis robusia.
