From the right bank a trail led into the forest. Along the trail disturbed forest and slash and bum fields was passed. (78° 55' W 00° 48 N) Alt 100 m. 3 Jul 1982 Liana twining in tall tree cut down in primary forest Inflorescence with red supporting leaves. Corolla white, red at the base. Nom. Vem.: Silla quilla remedio tape (Cayapa); Use: For treatment of urination problems. Prep.: The leaves are macerated and boiled and 3 teaspoonfuls are drunk 3 times a day.
