Fine sand. Relatively undisturbed, lightly grazed savanna grassland. Mostly surrounded by pastures.

Description
Forming a spiny, viny tangle in shrubs. Some of the leaves in inflorescences reduced and ca. ½ the size of those elsewhere on the plants. Fruit dark green.
