The New York Botanical Garden PLANTS OF COLOMBIA Cavendishia adenophora Mansfeld det. Luteyn 1985 Valle: Mpio. de Darien, Riveras del Lagd Calima, 1600 m. Shrub 2 m;conformed by long woody stalks. Grows exclusively on cliffs. Leaves are breakable, dull dark green on the face and light green on the back. Bracts are dark pink; calyx and pedicel are light pink.
