Habitat
Bosque Caducifolio. Distubed forest, with a few Pinus on narrow ridhe top. Quercus, Carpinus caroliniana, Tillia, Ostrya virginiana, Lyonia squamulosa.

Description
Small tree, 10cm diam., 4m tall; bark orange, papery; twigs brittle. Specimens from shade leaves, the upper keaves somewhat larger. No flowers or fruit.
