Acerplatanoides L.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, next to Paumonek Drive.
Samaras green. Tree approx. 6.10 m tall. Growing in a near
monoculture-stand of Acer platanoides, with Alliaria petiolata, and
Eurybia divaricata. The immediate area is within an overall Oak-
Hickory Mesic Woodland.
