Ca. 150 ft north of the Long Island Railroad tracks. 40°50’11.14"N 73°26'11,08"W, 184 ft. elev. Medium sized tree, to 30 ft. Common in the immediate area. Open understory in dense shade. Growing in a brushy 21 year old old-field with Alliaria petiolata, Toxicodendron radicans, Rosa multiflora, Aster sp., Prunus serotino, Fraxinus sp., Parthenocissus quinquefolia, and Acer platanoides seedlings.
