of Fox River north of Fox Road, 3 miles west of
Yorkville. Below seep line.
Among Salix, wide seepage thicket margin with Acer
saccharum, Fraxinus nigra, just above floodplain on
terrace. Rather common tree about 10-15 meters tall or
taller; flowers pendulous, green, on reddish-maroon
pedicels.
