Projeto Dinamica Biologica de Fragmentos Florestais,
vie. acampamento Dimona e Reserva 2107. Secondary
vegetation and pastures, formerly upland tropical
evergreen forest (mata de terra firme sobre latosolo
amarelo).
Colony of ca. 20 stems in 2 m. square area, to 2 m.
tall. Rare, only this one patch seen in open pasture,
not seen in any of the the other reserves. Spikes
greenish white, erect.
