  • Habitat

    South-facing roadside, in tropical evergreen, lowland, seasonal, broadleaf forest: Yucatan variant, frequently cut back and disturbed. Growing in association with Leandra mexicana, Clidemia capitellata, Clidemia hirta, Arthrostemma ciliatum & Clidemia dentata. Very common.

    Large herb up to 1m, with shiny blue fruit. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
