  • Description

    Pileus 7 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, finely subtomentose to tomentose, finely subrugulose in areas, cinnamon brown to pale olive brown. Flesh white, with some scattered pale brownish discoloration when exposed, with mild odor (not tasted, insect larvae). Tubes adnexed, yellowish tan to vinaceous pink, with some brown stains but not staining when handled. Stipe eccentric, (but likely an aberration), clavate, curved, dry, 13 cm long, 2 cm broad, subpruinose with scattered fine ridges, tan to pale olive brown to greenish olive, paler below, white at base, with interior white, changing slightly in spots to pale brown. Spores elliptical, faintly subreniform in profile. Hymenial cystidia conspicuous, abundant, with granular oily content in alkali mounts.
