Judd, 11 Jan 2011 St. Andrew Parish: 4.6 mi N of junction of Mavis Bank Rd on rd to Newcastle; S of Irishtown. Lat. 18 degrees 2.792' N; Long. 76 degrees 43.934' W. In the Blue Mountains. Elev. 650-683 m. Sclerophyllous forest, disturbed. With Calycogonium rhamnoideum, Miconia impetiolaris, Miconia laevigata, Clidemia erythropogon, Ossaea microphylla. Rare shrub to 0.5 m tall, on rocky ledges; petals pink, white in bud; anthers purple, filaments purple, anther sacs pale; style pink; berry blue-black. coll. Walter S.
