Monocaulous treelet, ca. 3 m tall. Leaves 1-2 m long, sessile at base. Flowers rose. Fruits globose, 6.5 x 5.3 cm, subsessile, the mesocarp greenish at maturity. Germination within 5 months. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
