Mixed forest on light brown sandy loam.

Description
Tree, 20 m high, dbh 25 cm. Bark dark brown, somewhat reddish tinged, flaky, with rows of lenticels, 0.5 - 3 cm apart. Inner bark light brown, sapwood light brown, getting darker to the heart. Heartwood dark brown, shiny. Leaves shiny above. Corolla pale yellow, turning bluish when crushed, stamen hood darker yellow. Fruits browish green, totally brown when ripe. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
