Habitat
Steep roadside slopes through premontane forest (heavily disturbed). Abundant but little in flower.

Description
Terrestrial to 4 m tall. Pedicel, calyx, and corolla tube dark maroon; the corolla lobes dull dark green. Berry translucent cream. Abundant but little in flower.
