Description
Pileus: 73 mm, plane in age with uplifted margin, densely matted subtomentose, black. Context white, staining red. Insect damage precluded gathering taste data.Stipe: 9 x 50 mm, equal, solid, densely matted subtomentose; black. Context stains red, becoming black. Hymenophore: Poroid, adnate. Pores 1-2 per mm, slightly angular; greyish pink in maturity, staining dark brown to black. Tubes concolorous.
