Description
Pileus 10 cm broad, plano-convex and depressed on the disc, viscid when wet, light brown to cinnamon brown to brown (6D-E8,7,6) finely appressed squamulose to finely appressed squamulose areolate under gluten, with even margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and slowly a slightly bitter taste. Tubes adnexed, vinaceous pink, slowly staining brown, with pores likewise, but some brown near stipe. Stipe 5.5 x 3 cm, equal, pale yellowish white at apex, pale brownish to cinnamon brown below, white at base, finely but conspicuously reticulate to base, with reticulum concolorous with surface above, pale brown to darker brown below, with interior white, unchanging.
