Description
Pileus with fine scales flattened, becoming finely areolate, red. Flesh yellow, immediately cyanescent. Stipe flesh progressively more white from mid-portion downward and cyanescent, slowly brownish orange in base. Exterior of stipe base white. Stipe surface red fibrillose striate-streaked. Tubes adnexed, yellow to olive brown, developing red pores with age, immediately cyanescent.
