Habitat
Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus, Acacia. Gregarious to scattered. On soil, wood, at base of trees.

Description
Flesh yellow and cyanescent in cap and stipe nearly to base; paler yellow in stipe, and a slow brownish orange oxidation in stipe base. Otherwise, the rhubarb red colors on pileus and stipe with some of the red fading especially toward base, with white subulbous base. Fine scales on pileus with a bit of yellow showing through on disc between scales. Extremely common and abundant. Soil very wet. Sometimes at base of trees, other times on soil.
