Description
Pileus 3 cm broad, convex, dry, with large black scales, flattened on disc, suberect toward margin. Flesh white, soon reddish orange then black with exposure. Tubes whitish to pale gray, staining reddish orange then black. Stipe 3.3 cm long, 8 mm broad, equal, slightly curved, dry, pale gray above, black below, coarsely reticulate above, with heavy pubescence to subfloccose, with interior reddish orange to black when exposed.
