Description
See collections from Fraser. Pileus 2.5 cm broad, dry, convex, finely subtomentose, brownish red. Flesh white, cyanescent? Mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, greenish yellow, cyanescent. Stipe 35 x 8 mm, equal curved, whitish to pale greenish yellow at apex, pale brownish red below, white at base, with interior white, cyanescent in apex. Reminiscent of B. obscurecoccineus, but cyanescent. Spores smooth, NOT longitudinaly ribbed/ridged.
