Description
Pileus 5.5-6 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, pale brown, finely appressed subtomentose. Flesh white, with mild odor (not tasted). Tubes adnexed, vinaceous pink, with pores staining brown. Stipe 8 cm long, 1 cm broad, equal to slightly broader below, dry, very pale brown from fine (dense at apex) granulose to scissurate scales, these overlaying some obscure, low ridges, paler toward base and white at base.
