Shrub 1 - 3 m. high, with stilt roots, in wet depressions behind beach; calyx greenish whitej petals pale yellow.
BARBUDA: Southwestern part of island, south of the lagoon; alt. sea-level-5 m.; thickets on flat sandy soil.
