Medium tropical evergreen forest without emergents. With Mauritia, Euterpe, other palms. With Cyperaceae, wet after rains. On flat clay soil, probably flooded during rainy season.

Description
Erect herb in roadside construction site. Underside of leaf and inflorescence a rich purple. Petals light pink-purple.
