  Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Unable to find the precise location of "Ponto x1-x2; " instead, georeferenced to the approximate geographic center of Rio Xeriuini in Mun. Caracaraí, Roraima. Used Google Maps - Earth View to locate Rio Xeriuini, a tributary of Rio Branco. Used the Google Maps - Measurement Tool to measure a straight line between the approximate geographic center of the mouth of the river (confluence of Rio Xeriuini and Rio Branco) to the headwaters of Rio Xeriuini (approximated through the dense forest cover), then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point along Rio Xeriuini nearest to the midpoint of the line; used Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the midpoint of the river. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the river. Input coordinates, linear extent (117480.0 m), and measurement error (2.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
