  • Description

    Spreading shrub, to 4 m tall. Young stems and petioles green, hirsute, the trichomes whitish, reddish on older stems. Hypanthium and calyx teeth green, glandular-hirsute; petals 7 or 8, white; anther filaments white, connective light brown, thecae dirty-white; style and stigma white. Immature fruit green, berry maturing dark purple, the trichomes persistent, purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
