Provincia Guantanamo, Municipio Maisi, entre El Diamante y Jauco, Terrazas de Maisi. 20°5'12.8"N 74°15'12.9"W [WGS 84 map datum] Manigua costera. Shrub ca 2 m tall; roots with methyl salicylate (wintergreen) smell; flowers green except lobes of keel and tips of lateral petals white. Especies asociadas: Plumería, Calliandra collettioides, Bursera simarouba, Lasiocroton bahamensis, Randia, Gymnanthes lucid us, Exostema caribaea, Bonania, Capparis grisebachii, Pilosocereus, Riterocereus, Broughtonia lindenii, Mesochaeta rosea, Jacquemontia, Cissus trifoliata, Forestiera segregata, Aristolochia dementis, Agave, Mammillaria, Melocactus, Ayenia, Evolvulus arbuscula, Croton, Guaiacum, Leucaena.
