BOSQUE CADUCIFOLIO. Remnants of forest on steep slopes of gorge, with Liquidambar macrophylla, Alnus acuminata ssp. arguta, Magnolia schiedeana, Styrax glabrescens, Gunnera killipiana.
Shrub on large stump, hemi-epiphytic. Leaves green aboive, very light green below; petioles purple; no flowers or fruit.
