Description
Tree with cilindrical bole, 25m tall. Sapwood pale brown, heartwood dark brown with sharp border between. Bark blackish, fibrous, shallowly fissured, peeling off in flakes. Slash pale brown. Leaves smooth, thinly coriaceous, slightly glossy, dark green above, medium green beneath. Flowers in bud pale green.
