Description
Terrestrial shrub, 1.5 m tall. Leaves slightly bullate, without red color at base of leaf above (as in C. axillaris). Plant with slight odor of wintergreen (as C. quereme). Floral bracts dark rose-red, adpressed to calyx at anthesis and after, not spreading. Corolla white at very base and at throat and lobes, otherwise orange. [photo; pickled].
