Description
Shaggy-scaly: yellow fibers on surface of cap and stipe, aggregating into scales in parts (esp. cap). Tissue underlying the fibers bluing in parts. Hymenophore yellow (and bluing throughout). Fibers seeming to turn blue near stipe apex. Annular zone apparent. Stipe breaking latitudinally in parts. Context white (and bluing). Staining most intense directly above tubes. basidiocarp 1: cap diameter 5 cm, stipe length 8 cm, stipe width 2.5 cm. basidiocarp 2: cap diameter 5 cm, stipe length 9 cm, stipe width 3 cm. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
