PLANTS OF THE CAUCASUS (GEORGIA) SCROPHULARIACEAE Scrophularia nodosa L. det. M. Khutsishvili The Republic of Georgia. West Georgia; Tsageri district; vill Ophitara. Right bank of the r.Tskhenistskali; roadside, ca. 42°31'549 N, 42°38'570 E, ca. 330 m. (coordinates from hand- held GPS, accurate to within a radius of about 50 m). Phytolacca americana, Dianthus imereticus, Pulicaria dysenterica. Perennial, with short swollen nodular rhizome. Stems up to 40- 125cm, purplish. Leaves purple-veined, shortly petiolate; lamina ovate. Inflorescence subfoliate. Corolla upper lobes purple, lover lobes and tube pale greenish-purple to yellowish. Capsules ovoid, acute.
