The Republic of Georgia. Tetritskaro district; Bedena plateau,
ca 41°36'30 N, 44°22'5 E, ca 1700 m. (coordinates from hand-
held GPS, accurate to within a radius of about 50 m).
Meadow; Primula ruprechtii, Primula algida, Pulsatilla
georgica, Iris sibirica.
Bulb tunics fuscous-violet. Leaves linear. Pedicels usually
curved. Segments blue, inside white at base. Filaments broad
at base. Seeds ovoid, pale brown with white cylindrical
caruncle.
