Habitat
Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus signata, Leptospermum, Allocasuarina littoralis, Eucalyptus pilularis. Solitary. On well-rotted wood.

Description
Partly rain-soaked, but in decent condition. Stipe rhubarb red and white at the base. Pileus dark red with aggregated squamules showing yellow between. Pileus AND stipe flesh yellow, cyanescent and then masking the yellow color - appearing white. Tubes yellow, cyanescent, with pores light red and cyanescent.
