Tree to 35m, DBH 78cm, trunk bending cowards light, large open crown, bark dark greyish with numerous lenticels, slash pinkish-salmon. Juvenile foliage pale yellowish-green. Profuse flowering. Irabricate part of sepals yellowish, exposed part scarlet. Petals and stamen filaments shocking pink, anthers pinkish, bordered yellow, style pink, stigma brown. No scent.
