Dominican Republic: Provincia de Samanà, along the
southern coast of Samanà Bay, approximately 2 km southwest
of the migrant fishing village known as Naranjo Arriba, in
Los Haitises National Park. ca. 19’4'N, 69’40'W. Elevation
40 - 80 m. Karst topography.
Voucher for PhD dissertation collected in experimental plots
situated in abandoned conucos (small semi-migratory farms).
Specimen identified by T. A. Zanoni of the New Yoik
Botanical Garden.
