Dicliptera sexangularis (L.) Juss.
Herb, 0.5 -1 m high, taller individuals supported by adjacent shrubs; corolla coral-red, anthers yellow. Locally common; shade to full sun in mowed roadsides and adjacent shrubby thickets.
United States National. Wildlife Refuge, west tract. Junction of western-most bunker road (leads to Monte Pirata road) and road to Kiani Lagoon, around intersection near gate. 18°07'07.5“N, 65°33'06.4“W, elev 10 m.
