  • Description

    30 ft. high and expansive. Base 18 inches. Bark gray and rough. The axillary aments citron yellow when fresh, easily detached. Leaves moderately lustrous, with prominent nervules on under side. Cambium layer emitting dilute milky sap, very sticky. Wood hard to cut. Growing to large size but not numerous. Tree trunk with many prominent knobs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
