    This plant growing in closed restinga. Restinga vegetation on coastal sand with scattered forest with lower trees in more open places.

  • Description

    Tree to 5 m with slender trunk which can get much larger. Leaves mid-green slightly glossy, paler beneath. Flowers with green sepals, petals white with green veins, stamens with dull purple filaments and dull yellow anthers. Ovary dull green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
