Tree about 25 m. tall and 50 cm. in diam., with unbut-tressed base and imcolored bark; leaves and fruits collected from the ground. In forest near margin of river. Between mouth of Riv. Camopi and Cachoeira Camarauá (about 3 knu south), 3° 10-121 N, 52° 191 W. ONly one seen.
