Description
Pileus 4-6 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, slightly sticky when moist, nearly glabrous, with very fine, obscure appressed and scattered fibrils near margin, pale cinnamon brown, with even margin. Flesh white, unchanging, 8-9 mm thick, with some pale yellow near tubes, with mild odor and barely with a latent subacrid taste. Tubes deeply depressed and remote from stipe, 8-9 mm long, olive to olive brown (3-4E6), with tubes staining a pale brownish orange, with pores up to 1 mm broad. Stipe 10-11 cm long, 11-15 mm broad, equal to slightly tapering downward, curved, white fibrillose silky striate, with fine pale brown scabers to nearly 2/3 length of stipe, with some pale orange yellow at apex, white at base, with interior white and some bit of pale yellow near tubes, slowly developing a very pale brown near apex.
